Ornos in Mykonos is situated in front of a small fishing village, 3.5 km south of the Main Town (Chora). It boasts fine sand, azure waters, and sunbeds and umbrellas for rent. The beach is really beautiful but often gets overcrowded.
A diving school, as well as schools for sea-skiing are available on the beach behind the main one. Small vessels such as boats and yachts also make a stop at the area.
The view from the beach is lovely, facing houses perched precariously on the cliff.
Lastly, many of the seafront restaurants serve some of the best dishes in Mykonos, while you can also find excellent establishments for coffee and cocktails.
