Houlakia in Mykonos: The pebble stones are a characteristic feature of Houlakia. The lovely beach is located 6 km north of Mykonos Town. It comprises two neighboring small coves, while the shore is full of large pebbles. The place constitutes an amazing spot to gaze at the sunset due to its marvelous scenery.
It is a protected area, therefore it is not recommended for swimming except for the small cove behind the rocky shoreline. Additionally, no beach facilities are allowed. However, you can visit the beach to admire the beauty of this idyllic location and the houses built on the beachfront despite the strong winds.
The beach is accessible by car or motorbike – a small parking area is available for vehicles.
